Frequently asked questions

How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are $25 for a 30-minute one-on-one session, with no signing or registration fees.

What age can my child start guitar lessons?

Many kids are ready around age 7 or 8, once their hands can comfortably press the strings. Younger kids often do well starting on ukulele. Give us a call and we'll help you decide.

Do I need my own guitar?

Yes, you'll need a guitar to practice at home. We carry new and used acoustic and electric guitars, and our staff can help you pick the right one. Shop acoustic guitars or electric guitars.

Acoustic or electric: which should I learn on?

Either works. Pick the one that fits the music you want to play. Your teacher can help with both.

Do you teach adults?

Absolutely. We teach students of every age, including adults who are starting fresh or coming back to it.
