About the Fender Standard Telecaster
Built in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico factory, the Standard Telecaster was the MIM Tele before the Player series replaced it in 2018. It keeps the formula simple: a string-through-body bridge, a 3-way switch and master volume and tone. This one has been personalized with a gray pearloid pickguard and a dual-rail style pickup in the neck position, which gives a thicker, hotter neck sound than a stock Tele single coil.
