About the Taylor GS Mini-e Koa

The GS Mini is a scaled-down version of Taylor's Grand Symphony shape and one of the most popular small-bodied acoustics made. The Koa edition pairs a solid koa top with layered koa back and sides, so the striking figured grain runs all the way around. Koa starts out with a bright, focused voice and warms up as it's played in. This one was built in Taylor's Tecate, Mexico factory in December 2014, in the model's earliest run, and has the original ES-T pickup, Taylor's plug-and-play system with simple volume and tone controls. Its 23.5" scale makes chords easy to fret, so it works as a travel guitar, a couch guitar, a songwriting tool or a compact stage acoustic.
